Vono
Last updated: September 10, 2026
These terms govern your use of Vono (the "app"), a booking, client-record, and communication tool for barbering and cosmetology professionals and their clients. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms.
Instead of a traditional username and password, Vono uses a personal code you choose when you create an account. Because there is no password recovery process, you are responsible for keeping your code somewhere you'll remember. You may delete your account at any time, which permanently removes your data and frees your code for someone else to use.
Vono lets professionals track client history and technique notes ("Vono Passport"), manage bookings, and optionally list themselves publicly on the Find a Pro directory. Clients can look up and book with listed professionals, and both sides can view their own booked appointments. Use of the app is intended for licensed and student barbering/cosmetology professionals and their adult clients.
You agree not to use the app to submit false information, impersonate another person, or interfere with the normal operation of the service.
The app offers an optional feature letting professionals and clients send each other fixed, pre-written notifications about a specific booked appointment (for example, "I'm running late" or "I need to cancel"), delivered as a browser or device push notification. No phone number is collected for this feature.
Vono is provided "as is." We do not guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that scheduling, messages, or records will always be delivered or saved successfully. Appointment scheduling and client communication involve third-party services (such as hosting, database, and notification delivery providers) that are outside our direct control.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vono and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including missed appointments, undelivered messages, or lost data.
We may update the app or these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
